DAVID LEE HAVILCEK

David was born in Portland Oregon to Theodore and Joanne (Bryant) Havlicek. He graduated from high school and college in Mt. Angel Oregon with a bachelor of arts degree.

In 1983 he married Mary Myers of Camas Washington, and together they raised 4 children.

He worked for 30 years at Gethsemane and Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemeteries in the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon. He was also a previous member of the Oregon State Defense Force.

He is survived by Mary, his wife of 39 years, his brother Martin (Valerie) Havlicek, and sisters Carol (Rod) Kiel, and Mary (Dan) Pahl; his children: Jacinta Havlicek, Catherine (Myron) Cronk, Dominic (Brieanna) Havlicek, Christopher (betrothed to Emma) Havlicek; and his grandchildren: Isaac French, Andrew French, Genevieve Cronk, Leah Cronk, MaryAnn Cronk, Justin Cronk, and Angela Cronk.

Requiem Mass will be offered at St. Birgitta Catholic Church, 11820 NW St. Helens Road, Portland OR 97231, on May 3 at 11:00 am. Rosary will precede the Mass.

Committal Service will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 333 SW Skyline Blvd., Portland OR 97222, on May 4 at 11:00 am. .
