Dale Michael McMahan, 65, a resident of the Rainer community pasted away at his home on December 26, 2024.
Dale was born on June 22, 1959 in Hillsboro, OR, He was the fourth of six children born to John and Eileen (VanDyke) McMahan. He was raised in Hillsboro and attended Hillsboro High School Class of 1977.
Dale had worked for Tektronix for 20 years before he was employed with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a Carman for the rest of his working career retiring on August 31, 2024
DALEloved everything motor sports, he participated as a spectator to air shows, drag racing, auto racing and boat racing. Dale was a catalog of knowledge when it came to these favorite subjects. He remodeled cars and enjoyed reading history and genealogy. He listened to Rock-in-roll and enjoyed deer hunting in his younger years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward. He is survived by four siblings and their spouses, James D and Christine McMahan of Milwaukie, John T. McMahan of Forest Grove, Daniel W. and LeAnne R McMahan of Hillsboro, Sharon and Don Keller of Forest Grove, nine nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews
